The French Petal is a wonderfully talented and acclaimed florist specialising in floral design for weddings and large scale special events. Having woven palm leaves for beach ceremonies in Tahiti and prepared decorative fragrant masterpieces for fabulous large-scale events in London, our brief was to create a brand that reflected the mastery and incredible versatility of this special florist.
When Pacifica was approached to create the branding, marketing strategy and website, the brief demanded a complete reimagining of the company’s image. We started by producing a delicate, hand-drawn flowing cursive that reflects the spontaneous yet personalised approach of the French Petal and we chose a chalky indigo to contrast with a soft peach pallet illustrating the feminine style and sharp attention to detail.
The logotype was gently imprinted on a cotton paper to rest beautifully within a flower arrangement without taking any attention away from the craftsmanship of the work. Similarly, the website was designed as an online gallery whereby The French Petal can display her rich history of work for future clients to admire and find inspiration. It is, therefore, a visually stunning site with a pure and minimalist layout that delivers an easily navigated portfolio of botanical beauty.
